Introduction
Luhang inflatable rubber fenders meet all ISO17357:2002 standard requirements. They're certified by CCS, DNV, ABS, LR, and BV.
Our ISO17357:2014 floating fenders are used worldwide to prevent collisions between ships. Made from reinforced rubber and filled with compressed air, they float and cushion impacts during ship-to-ship transfers and docking.
The inflatable pneumatic rubber fender is basically made of three layers: an outer rubber layer, a middle layer of synthetic tire cord, and an inner rubber layer. See the picture for a clearer idea. These layers are bonded together through vulcanization. Compressed air is then pumped inside, allowing the fender to float on water.
