A vertical boat dock fender is like a cylindrical airbag with hemispherical heads at both ends. The body consists of several layers of vulcanized rubber fi lled with compressed air, which allows the fender to float on water.

The vertical boat dock fender with tire net is the most frequently used type of pneumatic fender. It is outfitted with what's known as "netting". This netting is composed of car or truck tires (aircraft tires are also an option) that are connected by horizontal and vertical chains, forming a net around the fender. The tire net offers additional protection for the fender body.

At each end, the chains are securely attached to a flange and a towing ring. Both the horizontal and vertical chains, along with the towing ring, shackles, and swivel, are galvanized. This galvanization serves to prevent corrosion. To avoid any damage to the ship, the chains are covered with rubber sleeves. Additionally, the towing ring, flange, and swivel can be made of stainless steel.

These pneumatic net fenders are available from stock, with an internal pressure of 0.5 bar. Moreover, all dimensions can be manufactured and supplied with an internal pressure of 0.8 bar.

The sling - type vertical boat dock fender is essentially a pneumatic fender without netting. Its outer cover is a unique double - layer structure made of rubber. This double - layer cover is composed of a single cover and an additional tire cord layer. The purpose of this design is to offer enhanced protection against damages during operation.

At each end of the fender, a flange equipped with a shackle and a swivel is installed. This allows for easy attachment of a cable or a chain.

These vertical boat dock sling - type fenders maintain an internal pressure of 0.5 bar and are available from our inventory. Moreover, we can produce and supply fenders of all dimensions with an internal pressure of 0.8 bar upon request.
