Marine rubber airbags are now used for ship launching, loading, and floating. They are widely used in cargo boats/ships/vessels launching and landing, lifting and moving sunken ships, and salvaging stranded boats. The benefits of airbags are that they save labor, time, and investment costs. Additionally, they are flexible, portable, and dependable.
After more than three decades of practice and accumulation of experience, we have developed the technology from launching only 1,000 DWT ships to the current 55,000 DWT ships, and we will achieve more. This technology has become flexible, promising, secure, and mature. Besides that, these airbags are widely used to slip off ships and boats of all sizes.
The main raw material of marine rubber airbags is indeed rubber. More specifically, this rubber may be natural synthetic rubber. In addition to rubber, marine airbags may contain other materials, such as dipped nylon cords for the internal reinforcing skeleton. These materials are resistant to corrosion and aging, making them ideal for use in marine environments.
