What is Heavy Duty Lifting Air Bag?

A heavy duty lifting air bag is a device used for lifting and carrying heavy objects. It is usually made of rubber or synthetic rubber and has good elasticity and durability. The air bag is filled with compressed gas and can be inflated and deflated to lift and move heavy objects.
Heavy object lifting air bags are usually used in various occasions, such as construction sites, warehouses, docks, etc., and can be used to lift and move various heavy objects, such as steel, mechanical equipment, cargo, etc.
Size and Specification:
The Specification and size of for heavy objects transportation airbag is the same as rubber airbags for ship launching &docking.
Diameter(D):From 0.5m to 3.0m
Effective length(EL):From 6.0m to 18.0m
Total length:From 7.0m to 20.0m
Standard numbers of cord layers:From 4layers to 12layers

Advantages of Heavy Duty Lifting Air Bag
High Lifting Capacity
Air bags create high lifting capacity with safer low pressure. One air bag can lift 300~500 ton.
High Tensile Strength
Heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers are the framework material. It can bear high working pressure.
Resistant to Abrasion
Lifting air bags have 6~12 plies reinforcement layers to withstand most abrasion and puncture.
Scrollable
Heavy lifting air bags can roll with load that is extremely useful for load moving and lifting.
Construction of Heavy Lifting Airbags
Heavy lifting airbags are to be constructed of an out rubber layer, multilayer heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers, and an inner rubber layer vulcanized firmly. Heavy lifting airbags are cylindrical balloon body, with two conical heads and two end mouths. Airtightness swivel and air inlet kits are screwed with end mouth.
Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is the reinforcement layer of the ship launching airbags which are made of rubber-coated synthetic-tire-cord fabrics. Many synthetic-tire cord layers are twined at ideal angles by unique and patented "Holistic Wrapping Technology". To hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly. We use the 1870 dtex/2 type synthetic-tire-cord fabric. The warp is over 95 cords per 100 mm in width. The breaking strength is more than 310 N per cords.
Inner and Outer Rubber
Prior to the airbag production, the outer and inner rubber layers shall be tested to meet the criteria in accordance with the test methods given in the International Standards listed below. The outer rubber layer covers the outside of ship launching airbags. To protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage.
Common Types of Lifting Air Bags
Ship Launching Airbags
Ship launching airbags, known as roller bags or ship launching balloons, are made of heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers with inner and out rubber layers in a long cylindrical balloon shape. Ship launching airbags can be used for the ship launching, ship launching work. Ship launching technology using rubber airbags is accepted by more shipyards worldwide.
Heavy Lifting Air Bags
High-pressure heavy lifting airbags are the toughest large pneumatic lifting bags for the huge structure, concrete caissons lifting and moving. High-pressure heavy lifting airbags is updated based on the ship launching airbags. The highest lifting capacity of each heavy lifting airbag can reach more than 1,000 ton.
Marine Salvage Airbags
Marine rubber airbags are particularly suited for installation buoyancy on pipeline float-out, beach pulls, and river crossings. Our marine rubber airbags have also been used in applications such as vessel and platform draught reduction. Marine rubber airbags also can be used to salvage the shipwreck, rescue or float the floating bridge, and dock construction.
Heavy Lifting Airbags Application
Heavy lifting and transportation relying on heavy lifting airbag is cost effective and flexible. Evergreen Maritime heavy lifting air bags will provide you with a unique capability of land transport very large vessels, heavy loads, or heavy construction over ground where terrain would otherwise prevent such an operation.
The deflated marine airbag is very flat and can be placed under a grounded or stranded vessel that is hard aground. As little as 12 inches will provide very quick placement of marine air bag under hull.
Tips for Using Heavy Duty Lifting Air Bag
There are some precautions that need to be followed when using heavy objects to lift the air bag. First, choose the right air bag model and size to ensure it can handle the required weight. Secondly, make sure that the air bag has been fully inflated before use, and avoid over-inflation or deflation too quickly during use to prevent the air bag from rupturing or losing stability. In addition, pay attention to the operating temperature and humidity of the airbag, and avoid using it at too high or too low temperature and humidity.
In general, the heavy duty lifting air bag is a very practical device that can effectively improve work efficiency and safety.

Company profile

Luhang was founded in 1988 and has devoted for marine airbag and fender industry for more than thirty years. We had passed since our lifting and loading air-bag be used in various places of china. And in recently years,it also being used in large number of foreign countries. With its irreplaceable advantage, air bag technology has been quickly popularized among ship enterprises, hoisting and transporting companies, and constructing and installing companies, etc.,winning wide welcome from most clients.
For example,Turkey Black Sea Ship Building Co.,Ltd has successfully used airbags of this factiory to launch 7000-ton ship. Luhang airbags successfully launched the world's first ship with a weight of over 10000 tons.Turkey ICDAS shipping industry used airbags and successfully launched a 4000-ton ship.
