The floating hydro pneumatic rubber fender is a special version of the pneumatic fender developed for submarines. They are filled with water and air then fitted with a counterweight that holds them upright against submerged hulls, hydro pneumatic fenders are designed to be installed vertically making them ideal for use with submarines or vessels whose impact point is likely to be below the waterline such as catamarans, semi-submersible platforms and drilling rigs, protecting submarines and other vessels that make contact below the waterline.

Installation
Floating Hydro Pneumatic Rubber Fender is the same as the body of a normal pneumatic fender. The top end has a flange with an air valve and a water valve and ears for lifting and towing.
Drag the fender to the place of installation.
Connect the rope chain to the towing ring.
Secure the suspension chain and the rope chain securely.
Points for Attention
Rope chain fasteners: the rope chain should be held tight at low water level.
The fender must be where the parallel line of the submarine touches the fender.
Check that the intended rear surface does not come into contact with the scaffold when the fenders are compressed.
