In addition to traditional pneumatic fenders, foam-filled fenders are commonly employed in ship-to-ship and ship-to-quay docking operations. Constructed from a durable polyurethane elastomer or rubber exterior, a reinforced nylon layer, and a dense, shock-absorbing foam core, these fenders offer a reliable alternative. Notably, their performance is on par with pneumatic fenders, but they boast a significant advantage: even if the outer skin is damaged, they will continue, and they also exhibit exceptional resistance to wear and tear.

The internal structure of the EVA foam-filled fenders consists of closed-cell foam, while the outer layer is reinforced with a polyurea spray coating. Customizable features such as spikes, counterweights, and rope nets can be added to suit specific needs, enabling the fenders to mark maritime boundaries and intercept vessels and marine life. In contrast to standard plastic buoys, EVA buoys boast exceptional buoyancy, strength, and durability, as well as resistance to collisions and punctures, ensuring they remain afloat even in the event of damage. The accompanying protective barrier is designed to be connected in a continuous line, featuring needle-like protrusions that effectively deter unauthorized entry by ships and other watercraft. The barrier's vibrant colors provide a clear warning, while its long lifespan and minimal maintenance requirements make it a practical solution.

Excellent hydrophobic properties due to the lightweight blind hole hydrophobic foam core, which offers strong energy absorption and remains water-resistant even when cracked. 2.
