Boat Dock Fenders

The Luang boat dock fenders are also known as the Yokohama or floating fenders, which enforces the ISO17357 standard. It contains a thick layer of vulcanized rubber with two end flanges to charge air. They also own a tire network attached to their outer surface through a series of chains connected to their bodies. One of the key advantages of pneumatic is their ability to absorb impact with minimal resistance at low compression levels. They are an ideal choice for vessels carrying sensitive cargo, such as liquid cargo vessels with delicate equipment, and they are commonly used on large oil tankers, liquefied gas carriers, and offshore platforms.

As a new type of ship equipment, boat dock fenders can effectively slow down shock and vibration when the ship is berthing and improve the safety and comfort of the ship. Its working principle is to increase the elasticity and buffering performance of the fender by inflating it, thereby reducing the impact of the ship on the dock when berthing.

3. Pneumatic fender of 2500mm diameter and larger are fitted with a safety valve.

- Fix the lifting rope to the swivels on the fender's chain lugs

- Lift the fender well clear of the ground and any projections.

- Lowering the fender into position

- Connect the chains to the fender's chain lugs.

- Lower the fender to the water.

- Fix the chains to the anchors on the quay wall.
